Puto Bumbong<br /><br />ingredients:<br /><br />1/2 kg glutinous rice flour<br />1 tbsp violet food color<br />4 tbsp ube powder(optional)<br />2 cups water<br />3 tbsp margarine<br /><br />toppings:<br /><br />4 cups fresh grated coconut<br />165g grated cheese<br />250g condensed milk<br /><br />Procedure:<br /><br />1) In a bowl combine glutinous rice flour, ube powder and violet food color<br />2) Gradually add water and mix well with your hand until clay like texture<br />3) Grate the galapong<br />4) Prepare a pan wrap with aluminum foil and brush it with margarine or cooking oil<br />5) Roll 1/4 cup galapong into a cylinder or a log<br />6) Steam over low heat for 4-5 minutes. *don't forget to wrap the lid with clean cloth to prevent water from dripping into the puto bumbong<br />7) Brush containers with margarine<br />8) Place four puto bumbong inside and brush it with margarine<br />9) Top it with a handful of grated coconut<br />10)Add condensed milk<br /><br />Visit our website<br /><br />Like our FB page <br /><br />Subcribe on our youtube channel<br /><br />Follow us on instagram<br /><br />Follow us on twitter
